THE VETERAN ARCHITECT — HONEST BUILDERS

15 Years in the Trenches. One Vision: Capitol.

With fifteen years of operational mastery in the construction trenches, Cory Vaughn knows how complexity fractures performance. Having co-founded and built an industry leader, Cory recognized a critical need: he didn’t branch out to do more of the same—he branched out to do better. Capitol Custom Construction is the realization of his core philosophy: returning construction to its highest-fidelity state—focused craft, direct accountability, and a radical commitment to building the dreams of his partners and clients.

SECTION C: PURPOSE & GLOBAL STEWARDSHIP

Rooted in Washington. Stewarding Global Hope.

Authority isn’t just built on job sites; it’s anchored in community responsibility. Cory and his wife, Betianne, are proud parents to three daughters (aged 18, 15, and 11)—navigating college, theater, and cheer commitments and embracing the Pacific Northwest outdoors through camping, snowboarding, and boating. Beyond borders, Cory and Betianne are stewarding the development of a Hope Center in Kenya: a 30-bed inpatient medical and drug/alcohol treatment facility, spiritual center, and daily local feeding and self-care center providing clean running water, showers, and washing machines. We build icons in Washington so we can build hope across the globe.
